1 3/4 cup and 2 tablespoons of flour
8.8 oz of yogurt
1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of lemon zest
5 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of baking powder
In a bowl, put the egg and sugar, then whisk. Next, combine the yogurt and milk. Mix well. Now put the lemon zest. Then sift the flour to break up any lumps. Whisk until you have a nice thick consistency.
On a plate, add sugar for coating. Now get your pan and add enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom half of the donuts. Bring your pan to medium to low heat. Once the oil is hot, dip a teaspoon in the oil and start forming small balls with the help of another spoon, then place them in the pan. Cook until all sides of the donuts are golden brown. Once cooked, remove from the pan and place in a strainer to remove some of the oil. Continue with the remaining mixture.
Next, it’s time to cover them with granulated sugar.
